A skin tone brightening serum that contains the advanced ingredient tranexamic acid combined with clinically proven ingredients designed to reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation, sun damage and melasma. The ingredients within Brightening Serum work on multiple levels for maximum results with the challenging condition of uneven skin tone. It further supports viability of healthy melanocytes versus ingredients such as hydroquinone that is toxic to melanocytes.

Key Ingredients:
• Tranexamic acid - A powerful cosmeceutical that can inhibit and reduce UV-induced hyperpigmentation. It has the ability to reduce the severity of melasma (hormonally induced hyperpigmentation).
• Saccharide isomerate - A marine based ingredient that lightens skin and evens skin tone. It addresses hyperpigmentation by acting on multiple stages of skin pigment production.
• Hydrolysed yeast extract - A regulator of gene expression of melanogenetic signalling proteins to decrease the formation and maturation of melanosomes, reduces tyrosinase levels and activity, and diminishes melanin uptake by keratinocytes.
• Niacinamide - Addresses inflammation (which is often a cause of PIH) and reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation by preventing melanin transfer from the melanocyte to the keratinocyte.
