Alginate Peel-Off Mask The Functional Alginates range combine premium A-grade French Alginate with Australian natives and handpicked ingredients to support and enhance your in-clinic treatments while minimising client down time and adverse reactions, while providing a luxurious client experience.\n\nThese alginate masks make a fantastic additions to most facial treatments including, peels, epiblading, microdermabrasion, traditional facials and more.
Clearing: Formulated to support blemish-prone, reactive and erythematous skin, this alginate mask combines natural astringents and anti-inflammatory ingredients to reduce visible inflammation, redness and surface congestion. The setting process provides a controlled cooling effect, reducing heat and supporting vascular constriction to improve skin clarity. Its calming composition reinforces the epidermal barrier while soothing irritation associated with breakout-prone or post-extraction skin.
Key Ingredients:
- Davidson Plum → Antioxidant-rich fruit with anti-inflammatory properties; helps reduce redness and oxidative stress in blemish-prone skin.
- Diatomaceous Earth → Silica-based mineral that gently exfoliates, absorbs impurities, and provides mild antimicrobial action.
Each tub comes with 10 extra generous applications for the face, neck and décolletage. (500g)
Directions:
- Before preparing, ensure headband is covering the hairline, and cover eyelashes if required.
- In a silicon bowl, combine 2 scoops of Functional Alginate with 3 scoops (90ml) of warm water, mix rapidly until fully combined. Immediately apply with spatula to the face, neck and décolletage, covering the mouth is optional, avoid nostrils.
- Leave on for 10 minutes. To remove, loosen the edges of the mask, peel and roll away from the skin, starting at the chin. Ensure mask is removed around the nose, hairline and neck.
To minimise the alginate smell, mist the face with Floral Water or replace 1/2 a scoop of water when preparing.
