What is Nordlys™?

The Nordlys™ system is a versatile, multi-application platform that combines laser and light-based technologies to address a wide range of dermatological and aesthetic concerns. How the Nordlys™ System Works

The Nordlys™ platform integrates up to four core technologies that allow practitioners to tailor treatments to each patient’s needs:

• SWT® IPL (Selective Waveband Technology) – A narrowband light-based technology with dual filters and sub-millisecond pulses, designed for the treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions, photorejuvenation, acne, and hair removal.

• 1550 nm – Non-ablative fractional wavelength used for skin resurfacing (textural irregularities, soft tissue coagulation), acne scars, surgical scars and striae.

• 1940 nm – Superficial non-ablative fractional wavelength for skin resurfacing (textural irregularities, soft tissue coagulation) and the treatment of actinic keratosis.

• Nd:YAG 1064 nm – Long-pulse laser for the treatment of vascular lesions, including facial telangiectasia, port wine stains, venous lakes, leg vessels, benign cutaneous lesions and onychomycosis.

Each wavelength and technology option is designed to deliver precise energy to targeted chromophores while minimising thermal damage to surrounding tissue.

 

Clinical Applications (Australia & New Zealand)

• 1550 nm: Skin resurfacing (textural irregularities, soft tissue coagulation), acne scars, surgical scars, striae

• 1940 nm: Skin resurfacing (textural irregularities, soft tissue coagulation), actinic keratosis

• Nd:YAG 1064 nm: Vascular lesions/facial telangiectasia, port wine stains, venous lakes, leg vessels, benign cutaneous lesions, onychomycosis

• PL 400: Epidermal pigmented lesions, photodynamic therapy (acne, photorejuvenation)

• PR 530 / PRS 530: Skin rejuvenation (vascular and pigmented lesions), photorejuvenation, vascular lesions/facial telangiectasia, rosacea, poikiloderma of Civatte, port wine stains, inflammatory acne vulgaris, skin texture, photodynamic therapy (acne, photorejuvenation)

• VL 555 / VLS 555: Skin rejuvenation (vascular and pigmented lesions), photorejuvenation, vascular lesions/facial telangiectasia, rosacea, poikiloderma of Civatte, port wine stains
